- The Navigator or “Navi” is designed for use with North American 120V Electrical outlets.
- Prior to use, always verify Navi operation by testing on a known live and correctly wired outlet.
- DO NOT use if the Navi appears damaged in any way.
- DO NOT open the Navi. There are no user serviceable parts inside.
- The Navi will charge its internal battery whenever plugged into a live outlet.
🔋 Tips for Maintaining Lithium Ion Battery Health
Battery life: The Navi battery life lasts up to 4 days, though actual time varies based on factors like feature usage, and how often the Navi is plugged into AC outlets.
- Charge Regularly: To extend battery life, try to keep the charge between 25% and 75%. During usage of the product when sensing AC power, the battery charges automatically whenever it's plugged into AC power.
- Avoid Overcharging: Leaving the Navi charging for more than 3 days while fully charged can reduce battery life. If fully charged and not in use turn off power switch and place back in carry case.
- Avoid Deep-discharging: Do not let the Navi's discharge to less than 25%.
- Environmental Factors: Avoid exposing the Navi to extreme temperatures (below 32°F/0°C or above 95°F/35°C) for extended periods, as this can damage the battery.
Charge Time: The Navi will take no longer than 3 hours to charge if battery is between 25%-100%.
If the Navi is having connection issues, or the LED's are faint, these are signs the battery is near fully discharged. When this happens start charging immediately until fully charged.
If the unit is turned on and it doesn't power up (NO LED'S) plug the unit into AC power to charge. In this state the unit may take much longer to charge (may take about 8 hours). Make sure the unit is at 100% before using again.
